Certificate for the Covid vaccine: what about the vaccine passport in Europe?
Vaccine licensing is a much discussed issue, not only in Italy, but also in Europe. The idea of requiring a vaccination passport certifying theimmunity of the person could solve many future problems. The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, has recently made a proposal in this sense, for travel between EU states. A certificate for the Covid vaccine would indeed allow travel safer and make checks faster. In this regard, some companies are already planning a digital health passport against Covid-19, in the form of an app, which could soon solve any difficulty, even if not everyone agrees, due to the privacy issues. In Italy, owners of restaurants e gyms they supported the use of a certificate for the Covid vaccine. This could be a useful solution to reopen your businesses safely.
Of course, some have arisen controversy, because such a passport could be considered as discriminating for those who do not want to get vaccinated. Not just for privacy reasons (as seen with immune), but also because of the component anti-vax who does not believe in the anti-Covid vaccine. This problem (not only our own) will soon have to be addressed, considering that by the end of the summer, most Italians may have already received one of the vaccines Pfizer, Modern, AstraZeneca (who just received the green light from the EMA for marketing) or ReiThera, the Italian vaccine that will allow us to be self-sufficient in production and distribution. The license against Covid-19 will become compulsory? The discussion is still open.
