Cerignola was fined 800 euros by the sports judge. So far, nothing in particular except that the reason for the fine made some fans smile.
Here is the reasoning that appeared on the Lega Pro website: “[fine of…] 800 euros to CERIGNOLA to have approximately 90% of its supporters present in the Sector called Curva Sud intoned offensive chants: 1 – at approximately 17:25, in the minutes before the start of the match, against opposing fans, repeating it for six times and for about 15 seconds; 2 – at the end of the match, against an opposing team three times, for about 13 seconds."
The indication of "90%" did not go unnoticed and many fans made fun of this motivation. Usually, in similar cases, "good part" is used by custom, but this time there was a different formula that was sincerely a bit bizarre and it went viral.
