It will take place in five historic locations and will welcome over fifty artists, writers, university professors, journalists, representatives of the non-profit sector, and authors. This year's guests include: Maria Grazia Cucinotta, the writers Maurizio De Giovanni, Elisa Ruotolo, Lorenzo marone, Carmen Gallo, Laura Marzi, Alessio Forgione, Tweety Brown, Antimo Cesaro and the poet Franco Arminio. The Placito Capuano Award
Capua, the Place of Language Festival celebrates not only writing and literature, but also language. It all began with celebration of the Placitus Capuano, first document written in vernacular Italian, right in Capua, way back in 960 AD Thus, thanks to the Association Architempo, with the artistic direction of Bellone, the Festival was born in 2005 and the Premio Placitus Capuan.
The prize is awarded to a personality of the cultural world who, through his work, in various ways and with various languages and declinations, provides an important contribution to the diffusion of reading in Italy. Awarded in the past to important personalities such as Dacia Maraini, Matthew Garrone e Maurizio De Giovanni, the award this year will go to Professor Dominic ProiettiThe professor is the author of the book Kelle Terre. Language, history, and toponymy in the 10th-century Campanian Giudicati.The text demonstrates how Lombard Capua played a central role in social dynamics. This thesis is supported by the reconstruction of four famous legal documents drawn up between 960 and 963.

The aim of the Festival is also to contribute to the tourist promotion of the city.
