One of the great innovations of the 2024 Maturity is the Student masterpiece. This tool, although not subject to evaluation, is mandatory and must be uploaded to the Company's E-Portfolio Single platform. This is an experimental digital project that allows students to present the skills acquired during their five years of high school. Here are all the details on how it works and how to proceed with the upload.
What is the Student Masterpiece
The Student's Masterpiece is a personal essay that every student must create. It can be any type of product - from an essay to a drawing, from a scientific project to group work - as long as it represents the skills developed during the school career.
According to the Ministry of Education and Merit, this experimental tool offers students the opportunity to reflect on their progress and acquired skills by uploading the project in draft form to the Unica platform. The Masterpiece will not be assessed as part of the Leaving Cert exams, but it is a mandatory requirement.
