Here begins the story of their friendship. Mattia welcomes Aziz, who is Afghan, into his secret refuge, helps him, takes care of him and gets his story told. A story that seems apparently similar to many others and that instead will have unexpected implications. In fact, Aziz is not at all who he seems. Surprise ending.
