Football bets, 4 players at risk of disqualification

The FIGC continues to investigate the football betting case. Below is the press release.

Following a report from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento, the FIGC has referred Christian Diego Pastina, Francesco Forte, Gaetano Letizia and Enrico Brignola to the National Federal Tribunal – Disciplinary Section "for having placed - at least from the 2021/22 sports season and in the 2022/23 sports season - bets - directly or through a third party both with authorized entities and with entities and platforms not authorized to receive them - concerning results relating to official matches organized within the FIGC and foreign professional football championships". 

Football betting, who risks?

There are 4 players referred, as highlighted by goal.com, they are Francesco Forte, Christian Pastina, Enrico Brignola and Gaetano Letizia. The four – we read – now risk a long disqualification.
