A dramatic turn of events in the winter transfer market Lecce. The Salentini, as Corvino himself had admitted, were looking for an outside striker who had experience in Serie A and in a few hours Corvino set up the deal and brought it home.

Mister Giampaolo was also satisfied, having asked for a striker with his characteristics.

Jesper Karlsson will arrive, with negotiations already in the final stages. In just a few hours, the Salento club has almost closed the deal with Bologna to bring the Swedish offensive winger to the Giallorossi jersey. As reported Sky Sports, the operation will materialize with the dry loan formula, a temporary transfer that does not involve costs for the Salento club. Karlsson, born in 1998, is a versatile and very talented player, already protagonist of good performances in Serie A with the Bologna jersey.

There is, however, one aspect of the deal that still raises some doubts. Lecce, in fact, has a corporate policy that tends to avoid dry loans, preferring formulas that include the inclusion of a right of redemption to maintain long-term control over the players. This could lead to further negotiations with Bologna, to try to extract a clause that allows the Giallorossi club to purchase Karlsson's registration at the end of the season. However, at the moment the deal seems close to being closed and, despite the absence of transfer costs, it remains to be seen whether Lecce will be able to obtain more advantageous conditions (such as a right of redemption), before the definitive signature.
