New signing from the free agents
Parma has chosen its new number one goalkeeper to defend the Gialloblu goalkeepers at least until the winter transfer window. The Emilian club has decided to rely on the experience of Vicente Guaita, a Spanish goalkeeper currently without a club after his last spell in La Liga with Celta Vigo. Guaita is expected in Italy tomorrow. The 1987-born goalkeeper will arrive on Italian soil for medical tests and all the necessary formalities before officially signing his contract. Parma has accelerated the deal in the last few hours due to Corentin Suzuki's injury, which will keep him out for several months. Guaita, with his extensive career spanning the Premier League and La Liga, has been identified as the ideal candidate to provide immediate reliability to Pecchia's team during Suzuki's absence.
