Max Pezzali, idol of generations of Italians, is a musical artist who still continues to be loved. The secret of its success? The beginnings
Max Pezzali (born Massimo Pezzali) was born in Pavia on November 14, 1967. From an early age, Max loved music, motorcycles and rock. Between the school desks he knows Mauro Repetto. And together with him he will collect the first great successes with the 883. They are initially known by the name "I Pop" and participate in the television program 1,2,3 Jovanotti. In 1991 instead they participate in the Castrocaro festival with the song Don't beat me. Together they churn out many successful hits, among these we remember They killed Spider-Man, You're a myth, North South West East. They come to win the Festival of Sanremo in a 1993 with the song How come.
The farewell of Repetto
In 1994, however, Repetto leaves the duo, and Max becomes the leader of the band presenting himself with a renewed lineup by releasing yet other successful albums, such as The woman, the dream and the great nightmare (1995), The harsh law of goals! (1997), the collection “Gli anni” (1998), Grazie Mille (1999) and Uno in più (2001). In 2002 the collection comes out Love / Life which contains the most famous ballads of the band, with two unreleased: I'm here too (soundtrack of the Disney movie Treasure Planet) e What happens.
The beginning of Max Pezzali's solo career
In 2004 Max Pezzali dedicates himself to a solo career by making the album "The world with you" which turns out to be an extraordinary success, obtaining two platinum discs. The following year it's up to "TuttoMax", one tells of the successes of 883 and of Pezzali in his solo career. And this too is an incredible success: it receives 4 platinum discs and wins the Festivalbar as the best album of the year. The 2005 also marks his return to the Sanremo Festival, where he duets with DJ Francis in the piece Francesca in the evening dedicated to duets. Still in the same year he was awarded at the Rome Videoclip for videos of Here you are, do as you please e I'll be fine. In 2006Instead, at the Venice Music Awards album All Max is awarded as best album.
Time Out, an extraordinary success
Il 2007 is the year of Time out which ends up directly in first place in the Italian ranking of best-selling albums. Won two prizes at the Rome Videoclip for videos of I will be right back e You are fantastic; instead ai Venice Music Awards Pezzali receives the award for best album. In 2008 public MaxLive 2008, first live CD + DVD of his career. The cd includes 17 songs played during the Max 2007 Tour and two unreleased ones: half full or half empty and I'll be back. The DVD contains the live of the 2007 concert in Treviso. The album receives the platinum record during the Wind Music Awards. In 2011 public "Land" which becomes a gold record. 2020 is the new album
In 2013 esce Max 20: the album contains 14 songs by 883 and by Pezzali made with other Italian artists, plus 5 unreleased. The album is awarded as Multiplatinum disc ai Wind Music Awards 2014, while the single The universe except us was awarded the platinum disc. In 2015 get Spaceship Max; the following year it comes out Spaceship Max - New Mission 2016, new version of the album Spaceship Max containing two unreleased songs (Two souls e No lo so) and a live album titled Max Best Live. Il 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of Pezzali's career, which he celebrates with The songs on the radio and receives the gold disc. It recently came out Something new; the album was anticipated by the release of the single of the same name.
