The controversial character of Fikret Fekeli, during the next episodes of Bitter Earth, will continue to be at center stage, as the spoilers indicate. The grandson of Ali Rahmet, in particular, will have to face a new enemy, after having finally put aside his intentions of revenge against Demir Yaman. Everything will start when mujgan will decide to accept a new job in Istanbul and will ask a Fekeli and Grace to look after his little son Kerem Ali for a while to allow her to settle into the new city. But unfortunately, the doctor will die in a plane crash and this news will break the hearts of his entire family.
Fikret, in particular, will be so affected by the loss of the woman he loved that he decides to make peace with Demir and adopt little Kerem Alì. Shortly after, however, the young man will find himself embarking on a real legal battle against Mujgan's brother who lives in America. The man, in fact, will claim custody of his nephew.

Fikret will have no intention of handing Kerem Ali into the hands of his uncle as he will point out that the child has never seen him and that the man did not even show up at Mujgan's funeral. Shortly after, however, as the previews say of Bitter Earth, Fekeli's nephew will also have to face another moment of great worry and despair, when the child will get sick with meningitis.
Little Kerem Alì will be promptly admitted to hospital where he will fight for days between life and death. At that juncture, Mujgan's brother's lawyer, noting how much the child is loved by the Fekeli family, will decide to withdraw his mandate. However, when the little boy is finally declared out of danger and Fikret, Ali Rahmet and Lütfiye celebrate his recovery, his uncle will continue to claim the right to obtain custody of him. How will Fikret react? Will he be able to adopt Mujgan's son?
