From 1 September Benedict Vigna it will be the new one CEO of Ferrari. To officially communicate it is the Maranello house that welcomes the Lucanian physicist as follows: "Vigna, which will join Ferrari on September 1, comes from STMicroelectronics (" ST ") where he is currently Head of the Analog, MEMS (Micro-electromechanical Systems) and Sensors Group, ST's largest and most profitable operating business in 2020. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the ST Group ”.
Benedetto Vigna and the great international experience
Graduated with honors in physics from the University of Pisa, Vigna has a extensive international experience working with some of the world's leading technology companies. He joined ST in 1995 and subsequently founded the Company's MEMS businesses. His contribution ensured ST's leadership in the market for motion-activated user interfaces. His responsibilities have been expanded to connectivity and imaging and power management solutions. He has also led a number of successful initiatives in new business areas, with a particular focus on the industrial and automotive market segments.
