In the semi-finals our team actually beat France 3-0 with a score of 25-21, 25-19, 25-23 and is preparing to face Poland who in turn beat Slovenia. The champions are already thinking about the final to be held Saturday 16 September Saturday at 21pm at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, supported by the entire nation and in the presence of Head of State. For our national team it is the twelfth final in the European Championship.
Fefè De Giorgi's athletes reach the final after beating France led by another Italian champion, Andrea Giani. Among the supporters of the victory: Giannelli, Lavia and Balaso.
As many as 10 thousand spectators attended the final and enjoyed a spectacular race.
