Yes, an unusual regional Serie D championship has ended. Certainly, when we began this adventure in October, no one would have expected it to end so early.
Have you managed to achieve the goals you set for yourself?
Our main goal was to have fun as a family; there's nothing better than a father and son team. Of course, we tried to improve with every match, and we certainly succeeded. The Covid-19 emergency has penalized the Calabrian and national table tennis movement. In addition to the premature end of the championships, various tournaments and finals have also been canceled.
Were you penalized too?
We finished second, which was the best we could have hoped for, given the strength and supremacy of TT Nuova Luzzi, who dominated from start to finish. And I'm very happy with the results my children brought home. Andrea has improved, finally starting to show his true potential, and the points scored by Mariagrazia were also crucial.
Have you ever thought about opening a real table tennis school?
A table tennis school in Conflenti would be a dream come true. I'd love to make it a reality someday, but work commitments are keeping me from doing so right now.
What are TT Conflenti's future plans?
Next year we will be ready to battle to get promoted to Serie C2, I'll let you in on a preview, there will be new "acquisitions".

Fully satisfied. Table tennis is one sport It teaches the value of respect and friendship. It's wonderful to see my children so connected to people who are rivals on the field, but soon become friends.
