The theatrical work will be held inside the “G. Warriors” in the historic Palazzo dell'Annunziata, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Matera. The performance is scheduled for December 8. The days to visit the crib are from 8 to 10 December; from 17 to 18 and from 6 to 8 January 2023.
The living nativity scene of Matera
Between narrated voices, lights, sounds and special effects, the viewer will be transported and fascinated by the magic of the Christmas night when Jesus, the king of kings, came into the world. Fifty minutes of show to re-propose salient moments of the 'sacred history' par excellence: the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Sanhedrin, the massacre of the Innocents. And then finally the great emotion of the Nativity which is repeated in the millennial city of stones.
Actors and theater companies will be the undisputed protagonists of the new format. With the careful direction of Gianpiero Francese of Operaprima Srl, they will try to convey strong emotions and feelings in the minds and hearts of those who will attend the performance. The meaning of Christmas between history, tradition and good feelings, which our world needs so much today.
