The exhibition 'Anthology of the Bolognese motorcycle: 1920-1970' is currently underway in the old Industrial Heritage Museum of Bologna; the exhibition will be open to the public until next May 23rd.

The motorcycle production of the capital Emilian, between 1920 and 1970, it stood out for the inventiveness and skills of the numerous builders. Over seventy entrepreneurs who have ventured, with varying success, into the creation of very well-finished vehicles, from a constructive and aesthetic point of view, offering a range of motorcycles unique in quantity, variety and beauty.
Only a few brands have managed to translate critical acclaim into commercial success. However, the Bologna two-wheeler industry, also with the contribution of the components sector, has left an indelible mark on the history of Italian motorcycling. On display are 32 motorcycles from 15 brands, among the most significant of those years, bearing witness to the vivacity of the two-wheeled motor sector. In addition to archival documents, Photos and films that recreate the atmosphere and charm of the Bologna of motors.
"Anthology of the Bologna motorcycle, 1920-1970 " completes a large and important investigation work conducted over the years by the museum, with moments of public restitution such as the recent exhibitions Bolognese motorcycles of the years 1950-1960.
