An intense and well-attended conference

The conference saw a large participation of young students. The proceedings began with the Greetings from the President of the Province of Catanzaro, Amedeo Mormile, from Dr. Iembo of the Regional School Office, and from General Martinello of the Calabria in armi association.. And they continued with the introduction of the school principals, Angelo Gagliardi of De Nobili and Anna Maria Rotella, director of the Patari-Rodari Institute, and Virgilio Piccari, director of the ABA. A work on display

Just as very effective were the words of theengineer Roberto Jarach, member of the foundation of the Shoah Memorial in Milan. They have been read The words of Senator Liliana Segre and other survivor testimonies from students at the Art School. While the choir of Class 3A has sung Gam Gam, one of the most famous songs linked to Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Unpublished images and a very touching exhibition

A very suggestive moment of the conference was the presentation by Eugenio Attanasio, president of the Cineteca della Calabria, of the documentary by Catanzaro journalist Mario Foglietti with unpublished images of the concentration camp of Bergen-Belsen, which demonstrate the atrocities and cruelty of the executioners and the lack of any respect for humanity. The student council was also present at the event with several representatives.
