Malpensa airport officially titled a Silvio Berlusconi. This was communicated by the Ministry of Transport which announced the ENAC order, with immediate effect. The intercontinental airport of Milan will therefore be called “Milan Malpensa – Silvio Berlusconi International Airport”.

Parliamentary question from the Democratic Party

Presented by PD deputy Silvia Roggiani an iparliamentary question to Minister Salvini, signed by several deputies. As reported by the Ansa information agency, "to clarify which procedure was followed for the naming of Malpensa airport after Silvio Berlusconi and what are the reasons why the procedure provided for by law 1188/1927 was not respected, which requires a period of 10 years from the death of the person before naming a public place", the request of the Democratic Party.
