The sixth edition of the event TUTTI TOGETHER FOR LIFE, fourth prize for Road Safety and Legality, took place in Modica at the Auditorium P. Floridia, with the patronage of the municipality of Modica. The event was organized by the Italian Association of Families and Victims of the Road - Province of Ragusa, chaired by Biagio Lisa. During the evening certificates of merit were delivered to those who collaborate actively to finally put an end to the road massacres. There were many interventions during the event which was also attended by civil and military authorities.
It was an evening characterized by strong feelings, first of all, the Pain of those who lost a loved one prematurely and then, also, Courage, Justice, Solidarity, Information, Attention to the Value of Life. The organization has carried out its task in an excellent way, managing to alternate the story of the experiences of pain with moments of entertainment and even lightness. The soprano Giulia Miscioscia also enriched the evening with her singing.
Sixth edition of the All Together for Life event
The evening was presented by the journalist Lucio Di Mauro flanked by Denise Fabbiano. Di Mauro conducted a strong event with professionalism and delicacy, full of important testimonies, using all the grace and attention due to those present in the room to witness the loss of a loved one due to a road accident.
Among the attendees, Giuseppa Cassaniti Mastrojeni, national president of the Italian Association of Family Victims of the Road. His words leave no room for interpretation, the message is unique, the road massacres must be stopped and the rights of the victims protected. These are his words "The problems of the territory belong to us and we must mobilize to achieve the Zero Victims goal by 2030. Road safety must be achieved through coordination, infrastructure, control, information and training". "We must give justice to the survivors by recognizing the equal procedural dignity of the accused to the victims". "Kids need to understand that getting high doesn't mean getting drunk or taking drugs but having fun while respecting LIFE".
And then, it was time for the testimonies of the mothers courage who were invited to go on stage to tell their sadly tragic story. The attention was very high and the emotions were barely controlled. The emotion and solidarity were tangible in listening to the stories of courageous mothers who told of their children who died prematurely because they were victims of the road.
During the evening, people who distinguished themselves with actions aimed at road safety and legality were awarded. The following received the Certificate of Merit: Prof. Avv. Manlio Caruso, president of the Astrea foundation; Dr. Rosario Cannizzaro commander of the municipal police of Modica; the lawyer Sabina Spadaro in memory of Biagio Spadaro; Maria Assunta Partesotti AIFVS Modena headquarters; Paola Stranges president of the italiani.it foundation; Giorgio Giunta at the AIFVS Vigevano office; the Modica County Mothers Courage Group; the Arche 'group association; the Asp 7 Ragusa project don't bet on your life; Andrea Liverani Paralympic champion winner of 16 gold medals; Angelo Giurdanella Bishop of Mazara del Vallo.
