From South America to Asia, the Foundation supports those who want to rediscover the language of their ancestors or approach Italian culture for the first time.
Some guard it like a family treasure, whispered within the walls of their homes through generations. Others pursue it from afar, driven by curiosity or by that ancient sense of belonging that knows no geographical boundaries. The Italian language is all of this: roots, identity, a bridge between worlds. And the Italian.it Foundation has decided to make it accessible to those who truly desire to learn it, regardless of where they are in the world. Through a scholarship program aimed specifically at the descendants of Italian emigrants, but not limited to them, the foundation has supported dozens of students in starting or furthering their Italian language studies. A concrete commitment that has translated into real opportunities: recognized courses, preparation for official certifications, and access to Italian culture in its most vibrant form.
The project has already reached South America, where twelve scholarships were awarded in Argentina to descendants of Italians and to local students who wished to learn more about the language and culture of the Bel Paese. A significant ceremony, held in the presence of the Italian Consul of Buenos Aires, It confirmed the symbolic and concrete importance of these initiatives: language is not just a tool for communication, but an act of care towards the communities that hold Italy dear.
The Foundation doesn't stop there. The vision is to progressively expand the program, reaching new Italian communities around the world and creating an ever-growing network of students, teachers, and enthusiasts united by a common thread: a love of the Italian language.
