The third edition of the States General of the world of mountain work is scheduled for 25 and 26 January 2023. The two days of meetings and debates will be held in the conference room of the Courmayeur congress centre. For the occasion, institutions, companies and professionals will be compared on various topics such as: innovation, sustainability, tourism, sport and culture. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Courmayeur, is aimed primarily at managers, institutions, professionals, companies, students and mountain enthusiasts.
States General of the world of work and the mountains
The appointment Valle d'Aosta it represents only one of the numerous proposals periodically organized by the national platform born in 2019, thanks to the founder Pier Carlo Barberis. A world that deals with the mountains and everything related to them and that involves companies, start-ups, trade organizations and stakeholders. Currently taking place the States General World of Work on the topic: mountains, innovation, sea, architecture and design, culture, tourism, sport, Italy, cyber security, agrifood, cinema. During the meetings of the States General Mondo Lavoro confront each other all stakeholder, the insiders, each for their own sector of competence, and the debate on the topic of reference is started.
Specifically the themes of the two days of Courmayeur are “Innovation and Sustainability: proposals and projects to support the mountain sector”, “Values and skills for the development of the mountain economy and society” e "Work and education: meeting between companies in the sector and students". Among the speakers who will participate in the two days Roberto Rota, mayor of Courmayeur; Cesare Damiano, former Minister of Labour; Francesco Turcato, president of Confindustria Valle d'Aosta, Daniele Barbone, founder ImprontaZero and BPSEC; Ezio Marlier, president of UVGAM – Valdostana Union of High Mountain Guides; Luigi Fosson, president of the Aosta Valley Hoteliers Association.
