On Monday, April 10th, the day of the fair, it will be possible to admire the many traditional crafts of the Aosta Valley. Crafts, primarily wooden, include sculptures, carved objects, lathe-turned pieces, household items, toys, wickerwork, and wrought iron. The joy of creating with your own hands and ancient wisdom are passed down from generation to generation, from master to apprentice, resulting in unique pieces that evoke the warmth and atmosphere of the mountains. Also on display are wooden household and garden items, stone objects, and handcrafted clothing.

Like all traditional fairs, the day's program also offers opportunities for celebration and entertainment. Created in 1996 by a group of friends as an end-of-winter celebration, within a few years the Paquerette has become a highly anticipated and popular traditional event. The fair's official opening, as is tradition, is marked by music with the parade of the Musical band Courmayeur-La Salle, accompanied by the inevitable "Beuffons”, the masks of the local carnival, and from the folk group Les Badochys. So, happy fair to everyone.
