Bad weather returns to affect Italy with several weather alerts issued in various regions for tomorrow Thursday 17 October and the day after tomorrow Friday 18 October. In particular in the Northern regions, for tomorrow 17 October an orange weather alert has been announced for the risk of thunderstorms in Liguria and Emilia Romagna and a yellow alert in seven other regions.
Weather Alert: The Situation in Italy
As it happens in these cases, some Mayors of the municipalities of the provinces involved are closing the schools. So far the measures have been taken mainly for schools in Liguria which will close tomorrow due to bad weather, between the provinces of Genoa, Savona and La Spezia.
The situation is particularEmilia Romagna where the Civil Protection, in addition to having issued an orange weather alert for storm risk and hydrogeological risk, has also assessed an orange alert for hydraulic risk.
