The Streets of Treasures in Catania
In Catania, Le Vie dei Tesori has reached its XNUMXth edition and increasingly aims to consolidate itself as one of the leading cultural events, reaching last year the 17 thousand presences, to promote well-known and, above all, unknown places in the city, bringing them to life and delivering them to citizens, enriching the tourist offering and involving Catania's high school students.
The 2023 edition of the Festival in Catania will be held 7 5 from October to NovemberTwenty places and many nature experiences with various curiosities. Also involved is the beautiful Acireale with its buildings, laboratories and places.
The press conference
The Catania 2023 edition which proposes the motto "The city in all its forms” was presented to PElephants' Hall in Catania on September 29th, attended by the Mayor of Catania, Enrico Trantino; the Mayor of Acireale, Roberto Barbagallo; the President of the Catania City Council, Sebastiano Anastasi; Paolo Di Caro, head of the Culture Department; the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage of Catania; Gaetano Bongiovanni and Giulia Falco, representing the Archaeological and Landscape Park of Catania and the Aci Valley; the President and founder, Laura Anello; and UniCredit, the festival's main sponsor.
Also present were students from the third to fifth grades of the following schools: Galileo Galilei High School, Boggio Lera High School, De Felice Olivetti Institute, Angelo Musco Institute who will be involved in the project PCTO (paths for transversal skills and orientation) and will support the guides in presenting the treasures of Catania and Acireale.

Among the new features: Multimedia tactile center, the Church of Santa Maria dell'Aiuto, the Vincenzo Bellini Museum with his birthplace and multimedia museum, Palazzo della Borsa, seat of the Chamber of Commerce.

As regards Acireale, you will see: Palazzo Fiorini, an eighteenth-century nativity scene with theatrical performance, Treasury Museum of the Basilica of San Sebastiano, Episcopal Seminary, the Zelantea Library, the church of San Benedetto, St. Francis of Paola, di St. Raphael, Santa Maria dell'Itria, Saint Mary Magdalene; Carnival Museum.
