From 21st to 25th September it returned throughout Italy “Cinema in celebration“, the initiative that offers viewers the chance to experience the magic of the big screen at a special price.

For five consecutive days—from Sunday to Thursday—tickets for any film were available for just €3,50. Today is the last day of the initiative.

Over 900 cinemas have joined, for a total of approximately 2800 screens.

Cinema in celebration: 7th edition

Now in its seventh edition, the initiative is promoted by ANEC and ANICA, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the David di Donatello – Italian Cinema Academy.

It is an ambitious project which, inspired by the famous French Fête du Cinéma, aims to make the accessible cinema to an ever-wider audience and to consolidate the tradition of theatrical releases throughout the year.

“Cinema in festa” marks two fixed annual events, in June and September, and has now become a point of reference for those who don't want to miss the latest news on the big screen without sacrificing convenience.

The new edition is part of the broader "Cinema Revolution – What a Show Summer Is," the campaign that in recent years has transformed the Italian summer into a lively season packed with cinematic events.

Between big hits, new releases, and titles for all ages, the goal remains clear: bringing audiences back to the cinema, rediscovering the pleasure of group viewing and the uniqueness of the theater. Today, therefore, will be the last day of the initiative, with the big screen at a bargain price: €3,50 for a screening, a symbolic price to bring everyone back to cinema and culture.
