Passion Tourism, a courtly declination of experiential tourism, and perhaps we could talk about roots tourism, very current and much more.

Passion Tourism

The idea is to create tailor-made travel options, therefore personal and unique. We want to offer visitors a wide range of options to choose from, like a tailor-made suit. The project was born within the context of the APT's Strategic Plan for Tourism Marketing, but requires great involvement of the territory. This is the way to structure proposals that understand the desires and therefore the "passions" of the tourist. To this end, it is essential to be able to count on a widespread network of "passionate" people and operators throughout the territory.

“These meetings – states the General Director of APT Basilicata, Antonio Nicoletti – are aimed at operators "We are committed to providing opportunities for tourism, associations, public and private entities, but also to ordinary citizens who cultivate and wish to share their passions. These are moments to be shared with travelers who choose our region as their holiday destination. Therefore, the goal is to support the development of specific forms of local offerings." Beyond the hospitality that already distinguishes us as Lucanians, we must offer travelers something more than individual experiences.
