Today, May 4th, the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate World Laughter Day. Also known as World Laughter Day, World Laughter Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of May. Established in 1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the international Laughter Yoga movement, this day was born with the intention of promote laughter as a universal gesture of peace and well-being. Laughter is not only an expression of joy, but also a powerful tool for mental and physical health.

World Laughter Day: Scientific Studies Demonstrate the Benefits

Numerous scientific studies demonstrate that laughter contributes to reduce levels of cortisol, the stress hormone and stimulates the production of endorphins (the hormones of good mood), improves circulation and strengthens the immune system.
