After a particularly cool and windy May, the summer heat finally arrives.
In the month when summer arrives, June, good weather also arrives. What is the reason for the arrival of the heat? For some days, an anticyclonic promontory of African origin has enveloped much of our country with temperatures that have now reached full summer values everywhere. In fact, in some cases, temperatures are much higher than the average for the period.

Hot June especially in the South and on the islands
The only areas where the heat is felt in a slightly less evident form are those in the North, where there are some weak drafts of fresh and unstable air, linked to a low pressure system close to the Iberian Peninsula.
This scenario will certainly accompany us until Thursday 5th June or Friday 6th June: in this period, the hottest areas of the country will always be those in the South and the two major islands, in particular Sardinia , Puglia, where the mercury will rise to peaks of 35/36°C.
