Today, January 7th, the Italian Tricolour Festival was celebrated. To be precise, the Tricolour Festival was celebrated National Flag Day and the 228th anniversary of the birth of the First Tricolour of Italy.
The Tricolour, born in Reggio Emilia
The Head of State Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni have called for national unity through the symbol of the Tricolour, the anniversary of whose birth (7 January 1797) is celebrated today in Reggio Emilia.
It was in that city that the Italian tricolour, the national flag, was born, Mattarella explained that "the flag summarizes the values of freedom and democracy. It expresses to the world the values of our community"
