Covid's Italy is tinged with three colors: the regions become red, orange and yellow. In practice, the national government has divided the country into three areas according to the contagion risk existing in each specific area. And also in relation to the efficiency and organization of the health system of each region.
A division based on 21 parameters linked to the Covid epidemic and the critical issues that it is causing from one end of the peninsula to the other. The Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, during the press conference held tonight in Palazzo Chigi, explained which are the three risk areas in which Italy is divided and how to behave in their respective territories. Behaviors and provisions set out in the last Dpcm signed tonight.
Italy and the colors of the pandemic
The measures established in the Dpcm will go into effect next Friday, 6 November. According to the territorial division made by the government, the regions'red 'at high risk are Calabria, Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta.
The regions of orange, medium risk, are Puglia and Sicily. Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania, Friuli, Lazio, Liguria, Marche Molise, Sardinia, Tuscany, Umbria, Veneto, Trento, Bolzano, Emilia Romagna are yellow regions. So with a low percentage of risk, as regards infections and the organization of the health system.
The virus runs fast and spares no territory
In tonight's press conference Conte reiterated that “with the commitment of all we can face the epidemiological curve. Therefore it is necessary to support each other ". The premier assured that the "Ristori Bis" law decree for new incentives for those who are heavily affected by the restrictions of today's Dpcm.
The president of the council of ministers also pointed out that if a region reduces the percentage of risk in this phase of lockdown light, then the restrictive measures will be reshaped. Furthermore, Conte pointed out that in the subdivision of the regions there are no green areas, because there is no territory Covid-free. The pandemic is running everywhere and very fast too.
The self-certification is back
With the new Dpcm returns the self-certification for travel throughout Italy as a curfew will go into effect from 22pm to 5am throughout the country from the day after tomorrow. The form, already available on the Viminale website, is the same that had been prepared on the occasion of the Prime Minister's Decree of 24 October.
This is a standard model that all police patrols will have at their disposal and where citizens must indicate the reasons for their possible movement. The checks will be carried out on a random basis and whoever fails to demonstrate the reason indicated in the self-certification will be denounced.
