Irene Grandi, thirty years of career studded with numerous successes
Something like thirty years have passed from his debut in the early nineties to his new tour. One of the voices that have provided the soundtrack to at least a couple of generations of Italians, he has numerous hits and great songs behind him. Even today, after three decades, he tours Italy with a brand new tour with blues notes. The concert will feature international and Italian songs from the 1960s to more recent times. There will also be pieces from his repertoire, arranged in a rock-blues style to lend coherence and continuity to the current project. In this suspended, difficult, and lost time, I've finally found inspiration by returning to my roots. The blues has always resonated with me, it moves me, and during my formative years, it had a huge impact on my musical world and my voice.
In this moment that has kept us distant from each other, uncertain about the future, shocked by so many changes and saddened by the fate of the most vulnerable, I struggled to find inspiration and momentum, until I stopped looking for something new and immersed myself in something I knew, loved, but hadn't practiced for a long time. I wanted to remember where I came from and return to my roots, hoping in this way to find a deeper sense of belonging and a new strength to react to this dark period... with the blue of the Blues. To also accept the melancholy of this long, dramatic period we are living through, to listen to it and sing it... with what better color than the blues? Because the blues is roots, it is a mother, it welcomes you into its great arms. This is what the artist said in a recent interview.
