Assuring them and their families support, respect, and dignity. Thanks to the doctors, nurses, and psychologists whose home care is essential for palliative care in difficult times.
A mission also supported by a hundred volunteersWhose presence and support are of great importance: close to those who are ill but also present in the organizational management of Avapo Venezia. Which is among the few organizations in Italy to offer, free of charge, such an important service to cancer patients. With the support of the Local Health Authority (ULSS), which, however, isn't enough. That's why we need fundraisers, of which the Christmas Auction is a key highlight.

The traditional charity auction and Christie's index on the occasion of Christmas It's a "beautiful" event, as the organizers are keen to emphasize every year. A joyful moment, full of positive energy, to which many generous donors contribute. Starting with the young artist students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, the fashion designers from IUAV University, and the musicians from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory.Who have put art and creativity at the service of AVAPO Venice”, recalls the President of the Fabio Moretti AssociationThese young people offered several lots, including clothing, paintings, ceramic art, and an exclusive concert with the Conservatory's top students.
Among others pieces at auction, including a mixed media on paper by artist Fabrizio Plessi, a blown Murano glass vase by Massimo Micheluzzi. Bags and dresses by Prada, Gucci, and Max Mara, dinners or lunches in prestigious venues, yoga, Pilates, and bodybuilding classes, and ten entrance tickets to the Circolo Golf Venezia. Two nights at the Gritti in Venice and one night in the green hills of Asolo, where the Hotel Villa Cipriani is located. Cultural and fascinating experiences, such as a private tour of the restoration projects of the Dalmatian School, also in Venice. Or Museum Cards to Venice's main cultural institutions. But also two places for the "Carnet Danza" at the Malibran and La Fenice, ten bouquets of flowers to be delivered in Venice over the course of a year, a stainless steel Longines Master Collection watch.
