April 1, 2022: a historic date. After two years we slowly return to normality, with accuracy, with attention, but the first step towards normality was taken by Government. With the end of the state of emergency, numerous moves have been made to ease the restrictions. Among these, the greenpass it will no longer be necessary to go to the hairdresser, bank or public offices. Just as it will no longer be required on public transport, in museums, outdoor restaurants and spas and cultural centers. The green certificate remains only to access the workplace. All this until April 30, while other news are expected from May XNUMX. But the stadiums will also fill up again.
Stop the reduced capacity in the stadiums
For sports enthusiasts, the most important news comes from the stop of the reduced capacity in the stadiums. It will return to 100% capacity. We all lacked being able to see the full ones at San Siro, San Paolo or Olimpico, just to mention some of the most important stadiums in Italy.
The increase in capacity it is foreseen by the decree-law that contains the “urgent provisions to overcome the measures to combat the spread of the epidemic from Covid-19”. To access the stadiums, a basic green pass is sufficient, which is obtained with a quick swab, while the obligation to wear the Ffp2 type mask remains standing. Regulations that therefore greatly ease the restrictions even in outdoor sports facilities. On the other hand, the obligation to have a reinforced green pass remains for indoor facilities, such as basketball facilities. The sports halls will also return to 100% of their capacity.
What changes for sportsmen
For sportsmen who practice outdoor physical activity the obligation of the green pass lapses. To attend gyms, swimming pools and all indoor team sports, a reinforced green pass is still required. Just as the penalties for those who do not respect the rules and for those who do not monitor remain unchanged: the fines vary from 400 to 1000 euros.
